This little picture got left behind when I was uploading the ones from Bei Hai. This is the Nine Dragon Screen. It is big and colorful and very dragony. By the time we found this gem at the back of the park it had been a long day of walking in the sun, so we were pretty darn pooped. After taking this pictures we ventured back into the maze that is Bei Hai in search of the exit and a taxi willing to pick up a bunch of waiguoren (foreigners). Believe it or not it is really hard to hail a cab if you are...well, white or black or anything besides Asian-looking. Drivers just assume you can't speak Chinese and they rather not deal with you, so sometimes hailing a cab becomes a major event and you should try to not wait until you are super hungry or tired and want to get back to campus immediately....because that is not happening.
