Jayson and I picked a perfect day to go see the famous Temple of Heaven, blue skies and a nice breeze. Honestly, the weather in Beijing is infinitely nicer than I ever would have expected. I really hope I didn't just jinx it...well we were inspired by the bright skies and high spirits to grab some ice cream while we were there. In the States I only eat ice cream when I am at home (usually watching television or a chick flick of some sort), but in China ice cream always seems appropriate, especially because it is sold on every street corner for about a buck. This can not be good for my...delicate figure. Haha!
